Hi,
My name is Tyler Jonah Pearce. I’ve worked in the non-profit sector for over a decade, am a writer and editor, and a not-quite-reformed academic. I’ve supported the growth and operational development of social enterprises and regionally-based teams, and I’ve helped the charities I’ve worked for understand themselves better, and increase their impact.
Thing is, I like this variety. I want to edit books, undertake original research, and work with(in) nonprofits who want to serve their communities and get systems changed. I want to be drawing a concept map in the morning and holding a discussion group in the afternoon.
So I became a consultant. “Hi!”
Most consultants pick a niche and “niche down.” What I have to offer is very much not that. I have a broad base of knowledge, experience, and interest that I’d like to share. And, as someone who thinks our policies, practices, and politics are stronger when textured knowledges and ways of being are brought together, one of my gifts is helping bring other people’s voice and insights to the table.
My approach is relationship-based, grounded in truth-telling and honest reflection. We need to do the work to figure out what we have going for us, what is no longer working and, with our strengths in mind, we need to go be brave and ambitious.
So let’s start with the particulars of you. The best way to know if I’m the right person to support you, your project or organization is with an introductory meeting. Please reach out!
Sincerely,

T. Jonah Pearce, PhD (he/him)
